Kikyo vs. kagome

one of the main debates between inuyasha fans is often wither inyasha should be with kikyo or kagome.

lets get things straight kikyo is inuyasha's first love, of course he is always going to have a place in his heart for her, especially due to the fact they were torn apart by naraku against thier will. We as inukag fans have to accpet that inuyusha does love kikyou HOWEVER this does not mean he doesnt love kagome

Inuyasha does in fact love Kagome. It was fate, in fact if kikyo hadnt died, Kagome wouldnt exist as she is kikyo's reincarnation.

Kagome was meant to be with Inuyasha it's fate. they are perfect for one antoher. Kagome and Inuyasah will do everyhting they can to protect one another.

even when kikyo is ressurected, kagome is still on his mind when he enocunters kikyo, even in one episode where inuyasah had that hallucination where he saw kikyou but then he was like "wait theres someone else i have to protect?" and then kagome appears in teh vision and its symbolic of how his love for kagome over powers his old love for kikyo, it symbolizes that there is someone else he is meant to live for now.

in the episode "kagomes voice and kikyo's kiss" inuyasha is almost hypnotized by kikyo into being dragged to hell however it is kagomes voice that is able to break his distraction also symoblizing the strong bond between kagome and inuyasha

Inuyasha even admits in episode 48 that he feels he has to be with kikyo out of GUILT becasue he feels responsible for her death, MEANING he does want to be with kagome and hte only thing holidng him bakc is guilt

at the end of the manga[ last chapter] kagome is not able to see inuyasha for 3 years becuase the well will not work however her love for him is strong enough to make the portal work and she is able to return to him and live with him for ever hence the quote "inuyasha and i are bound to tomorrow"

MY POINT IS inuyasha may love kikyo but the love he shares with kagome is much stronger.

Kagome seems to love inuyasha more than kikyo ever has, considering she constantly worries for him and she accepts him as a half demon she doesnt pressure him to become a human like kikyo did.

Inuyasha and Kagome are really meant for eachother, they protect eachother constantly, they get jelous over one another all the time, they argue like a married couple, whenever one of thems gone they miss eachoter, whenver they get in a fight it has a big emotional effect on them.

the thing i notice about kikyo is she's like way too mature for inuyasha lol hes go the temper of a young boy while shes so calm and grown up, kagomes more tolerable to his little outbursts and she younger than him so shes more suited for him where as kikyos one or two years older than inu

in conclusion i think kagome wins at the end of the day

Inuyasha loves kagome but he will always hold a place in his heart for kikyo
